Gold prices rose by Rs 500, reaching Rs 80,900 per 10 grams in the national capital on Thursday, due to strong buying by retailers and jewellers.
The previous session saw gold priced at Rs 80,400 per 10 grams. Over the last three sessions, gold has surged by nearly Rs 2,000. Silver also saw a significant increase of Rs 700, settling at Rs 97,000 per kg.
