Goldman Sachs Predicts Vodafone Idea Shares Could Plunge 83% to Rs 2.5

Vodafone Idea's shares may drop by up to 83%, reaching just Rs 2.5, according to Goldman Sachs. The global brokerage firm highlights the telecom company's ongoing struggles, despite a recent capital raise of Rs 20,100 crore.

The firm believes that Vodafone Idea's weak market share and financial challenges, including large payments due by FY26, make it difficult for the company to recover. Goldman Sachs also forecasts a further market share loss of 300 basis points over the next 3-4 years and expects the company to remain cash flow negative until at least FY31.
