The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has officially declared the results for the Class 10 Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exams. Students who appeared for the exams can now access their results online at the official GSEB website, gseb.org. The results were announced at 8 am, allowing students to check their scores early in the day.

The SSC examinations took place between February 26 and March 16, 2026. This year, a total of 7,56,392 students registered for the Class 10 exams, and an impressive 6,34,327 candidates passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 83.86%. This marks a slight increase from the previous year, which had a pass percentage of 83.08%.

Female students outshined their male counterparts this year, with a pass rate of 88.28% compared to 80.12% for male students. This trend highlights the growing academic success among girls in Gujarat, a positive sign for gender equality in education.

Students can check their results by visiting gseb.org and clicking on the appropriate link for the SSC results. They will need to enter their seat number and captcha code to access their marks. Additionally, results can also be retrieved via SMS and WhatsApp to ensure that students have multiple ways to check their scores without facing potential server slowdowns.

For those who did not pass or are dissatisfied with their results, GSEB will offer supplementary exams in June 2026. This allows students another chance to improve their scores. The “Best of Two” policy means that the higher score from two attempts will be considered, providing students with a safety net.

This year, the district of Narmada recorded the highest passing percentage at 90.85%, while Panchmahal had the lowest at 76.42%. English-medium students achieved the highest overall pass rate at 92.50%, followed by Gujarati-medium students at 82.67%. This reflects the impact of the medium of instruction on student performance.

In conclusion, the GSEB Class 10 results showcase a significant achievement for students in Gujarat, with a steady improvement in pass percentages. The accessible methods to check results further enhance the experience for students and their families as they navigate this important milestone in their academic journey.
