Suchi Semicon is set to open Gujarat’s first semiconductor assembly and testing plant in Surat this November. The facility, spanning 30,000 square feet, will generate around 1,200 jobs and feature advanced cleanroom technology.
With the Gujarat government offering 20% project cost incentives and a potential 50% subsidy from the central India Semiconductor Mission, Suchi Semicon is making strides to fill gaps in India’s semiconductor supply chain. The plant will be developed in phases over three years, focusing on both legacy and advanced semiconductor products.
