HDFC Bank's market capitalization surpassed Rs 14 lakh crore for the first time after its stock hit a record high of Rs 1,836.05 on November 28, 2024.
The market cap peaked at Rs 14,00,710 crore before dipping slightly. At 11:17 am, shares were trading at Rs 1,808.40, down 0.14%. HDFC Bank is now India's third most valuable company, after Reliance Industries and TCS. In Q2 FY25, the bank's profit after tax grew 5.3% YoY to Rs 16,821 crore. The stock has an average target price of Rs 1,936, showing an 8% upside.
