IIT Delhi Sees 1,275 Job Offers in Placement Season

The Indian Institute of Technology-Delhi (IIT-D) is once again proving its mettle in the job market, with students securing a total of 1,275 job offers during the ongoing placement season for the academic year 2025-26. Among these offers, there are over 35 international opportunities, showcasing the global appeal of IIT Delhi graduates.

According to a statement released by the institute, more than 1,140 individual students have found placements so far. Additionally, the number of pre-placement offers (PPO) has surged by 33% compared to last year, indicating a growing interest from recruiters.

This year, recruitment activities have drawn significant attention from large multinational companies, financial institutions, consulting firms, and technology giants. Notable recruiters such as Accenture, Google, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, and Microsoft have made double-digit offers on campus, reflecting a strong demand for talent from IIT Delhi.

Furthermore, there has been a notable increase in international offers, with students receiving opportunities from prestigious organizations across countries like Japan, the Netherlands, Singapore, the UAE, and the UK. This global interest highlights the caliber of IIT Delhi's graduates and their readiness to take on international roles.

Professor Naresh V Datla, the Professor-in-Charge of the Office of Career Services (OCS) at IIT Delhi, expressed satisfaction with the placement season so far. He stated, “The consistent performance of our students reflects their academic rigor, adaptability, and readiness for industry challenges.” He also extended gratitude to the recruiting partners for their continued support.

As the placement season progresses, recruitment activity is expected to pick up further. Professor Suresh Neelakantan, Co-Professor-in-Charge of OCS, emphasized the institute's commitment to strengthening collaborations with diverse recruiters, aiming to enhance job opportunities for students. The placement season is set to continue until the end of May, with high hopes for even greater successes.
