IMD Clears Confusion Over Cyclone Shakti

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has addressed growing concerns about "Cyclone Shakti," clarifying that there is no cyclone forming. This clarification comes after misinformation spread through social media, misleading people about the difference between cyclonic circulation and a cyclonic storm. Habibur Rahman Biswas, from the IMD, explained that cyclonic circulation is an upper-air phenomenon that doesn't pose a threat, while a cyclonic storm is a dangerous low-pressure system at the surface. The IMD urges everyone to rely on official sources for accurate information and reassured that no cyclone warnings have been issued currently.
