India achieved a new milestone in aviation on Sunday as domestic flyers exceeded 5 lakh in a single day for the first time.
Data from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) revealed that 5,002 flights carried 5,05,275 passengers across the country. This marks a significant recovery in air travel, reflecting growing demand and confidence in domestic aviation. With airlines now operating at near-full capacity, this surge highlights the robust growth of India’s aviation sector
