Indian Airlines See 12% Surge in Domestic Flyers in November

Indian airlines recorded a 12% rise in domestic passengers, carrying 1.42 crore flyers in November 2024 compared to 1.27 crore in the same month last year. The strong growth highlights the increasing demand for air travel within the country. Indigo maintained its leadership, accounting for 64.6% of the market share, flying over 91.5 lakh passengers. Air India followed with 11.4% market share, while Vistara secured 8.6%. This growth reflects a steady recovery in India’s aviation sector and increasing confidence among travelers, particularly during the holiday season.
