India’s Inflation Expected to Drop in November: CPI to Ease to 5.5%

India's Consumer Price Index (CPI) inflation is predicted to fall to 5.5% in November, down from 6.2% in October, according to Morgan Stanley.

The drop is due to falling food prices and a slowing core CPI, which excludes food and fuel. Union Bank of India also forecasts a similar decline to 5.4%, driven by a seasonal drop in vegetable prices, particularly tomatoes. This easing inflation comes as a relief to both consumers and policymakers and supports the Reserve Bank of India’s efforts to maintain price stability.
