Despite multi-level authentication, India's largest crypto theft saw ₹2,000 crore ($230 million) stolen from a WazirX wallet. The heist, planned since July 10, involved 200 transactions traced by Crystal Intelligence, revealing the thief's use of Tornado Cash to obscure their identity.
The stolen crypto was converted and dispersed across multiple wallets. Though 61,000 Ethereum remains untouched, authorities are closely monitoring for any movement. The thief's identity remains unknown, but any attempt to convert crypto to fiat will expose them.
