iPhone 15 is Now the World’s Best-Selling Smartphone, with Samsung Close Behind

Apple’s iPhone 15 has taken the lead as the world’s best-selling smartphone in Q3 2024, driven by high demand for its Pro variants and enticing financing and trade-in offers.

According to Counterpoint Research, Apple’s Pro models now make up half of total iPhone sales for the quarter. Meanwhile, Samsung holds the largest presence in the global top 10, with five models including the Galaxy S24 and four Galaxy A-series models, appealing to mid-range buyers. Xiaomi’s Redmi 13C also remains popular, securing a spot for its affordability.
