JEE Main 2026 Answer Key Released - Raise Objections Now
The JEE Main 2026 provisional answer key has been released, and the window for raising objections will be open from February 4 to February 6. Candidates can check the answer key and their response sheets on the official websites: jeemain.nta.nic.in and nta.ac.in. The results for Session 1 are expected to be announced on February 12.
This year, over 13 lakh candidates participated in the JEE Main examination, which took place from January 21 to January 29. The examination covered three main subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. According to analysis, the difficulty levels varied across different days, with Chemistry showing a mix of moderate to tough questions. Initially, candidates found the Chemistry paper challenging, but it became easier in later shifts, providing good scoring opportunities for well-prepared students.
Physics, on the other hand, maintained a consistent level of difficulty throughout the examination. Candidates reported that the Physics questions focused on core concepts, covering essential topics such as electrostatics, optics, and modern physics. The majority of questions were based on formula application, and students who were well-prepared with their NCERT concepts fared well.
Mathematics was perceived as slightly more challenging, especially due to lengthy calculations. The overall balance of questions across all subjects was commendable, but students needed to manage their time effectively to tackle the more demanding math problems.
Students have the opportunity to challenge the provisional answer key if they believe any of the answers are incorrect. This objection window closes at 11:50 PM on February 6, and if any challenges are validated, the answer key will be revised accordingly, impacting all candidates' scores. The final answer key will be used to prepare and declare the results.
As students gear up for the results, the anticipation grows. Candidates are encouraged to stay updated and keep an eye on the official websites for further announcements. With the JEE Main 2026 session 2 applications already underway, students must remain focused on their preparations, ensuring they are ready for the next phase of this competitive journey.
