JEE Mains 2026 Begins: Key Updates and Analysis

The JEE Mains Exam 2026 has officially begun, with Session 1 scheduled from April 2. This nationwide examination will take place at approximately 566 centers across 304 cities in India and 14 cities abroad, accommodating around 11.23 lakh candidates. The exam will be conducted in two shifts: the first from 9 AM to 12 noon and the second from 3 PM to 6 PM. Candidates are required to undergo security checks to ensure a secure environment.
