JEE Mains 2026 Results: 12 Students Score 100 Percentile

The JEE Mains Result 2026 has generated a buzz among students and parents alike, especially with the announcement made by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on February 16. This year, a remarkable 12 candidates achieved a perfect 100 percentile score, demonstrating the caliber of students participating in this challenging examination.

The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains is a crucial stepping stone for aspiring engineers in India, as it opens doors to prestigious institutions such as the IITs, NITs, and several private colleges. This year’s exam was held from January 21 to 29, 2026, with over 13 lakh candidates registering to take the test. Out of these, approximately 13,04,653 candidates appeared, showcasing a high level of participation.

To check their results, candidates can visit the official NTA JEE website at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The process is straightforward: they need to click on the “JEE Mains Result 2026 for Session 1” link, enter their login details including application number and password, and submit the information to view their scores.

The marking scheme for this year’s examination was also noteworthy. Candidates received four marks for each correct answer, while one mark was deducted for each incorrect answer. This scheme ensures that students are rewarded for their knowledge while also discouraging random guessing.

The results are not just numbers; they represent the hard work and dedication that students have put in throughout their preparation journey.
