A portion of Raj Kapoor's historic Kapoor Haveli in Peshawar has recently collapsed due to the effects of heavy rains and an earthquake. The continuous downpour weakened the building’s structure, and tremors further destabilized it. Shakeel Waheedullah, the secretary of the Heritage Council in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), confirmed that a part of the haveli's wall fell after the quake, raising alarms about the safety of the remaining structure. Fortunately, no casualties have been reported.
