Mumbai-based audio platform Kuku FM reported a major revenue boost, achieving INR 104.1 Cr in FY24—a 114% rise from INR 48.8 Cr last year. Known for its vast library of audiobooks, self-help, and educational content in seven Indian languages, Kuku FM draws income primarily from its 25 million paid users.
The startup's total loss reduced to INR 96 Cr, down by 18% from the previous year. Expenditures also climbed by 21% to INR 200 Cr, with key investments in marketing (INR 102 Cr) and employee costs (INR 48 Cr).
