M2P Fintech, an API infrastructure platform based in Chennai, has raised ₹417.5 crore ($50 million) from Taj Investment Holdings.
This funding, secured through Series D preference shares, boosts M2P’s valuation to approximately $800 million. It’s Taj’s first investment in Indian startups, highlighting confidence in M2P's potential. The funding will enhance working capital and support expansion plans, adding 38,700 options to its employee stock pool. M2P operates in multiple countries and aims to innovate in the competitive fintech space, facing rivals like Setu and Signzy.
