MakeMyTrip has signed a deal to acquire Happay, an expense management platform owned by CRED since 2021, for an undisclosed amount. Happay specializes in corporate expense management for travel and tax benefits, serving over 900 clients, including large enterprises. The transition will see the Happay brand, business, and team integrated into MakeMyTrip, bolstering its corporate travel services. Happay’s payments business will remain with CRED. MakeMyTrip aims to enhance its MyBiz and Quest2Travel platforms, already serving over 59,000 SMEs and 450 corporates. The deal closes in 90 days.
