NestAway Co-Founder Accuses Major Investors of Fraud

Amarendra Sahu, co-founder of home rental platform NestAway, has filed a police complaint against investors Tiger Global, Goldman Sachs, and Chiratae Ventures, as well as fellow co-founders Jitendra Jagadev and Smruti Parida. He alleges that his signatures were fraudulently used to authorize NestAway's sale to Aurum PropTech for ₹90 crore on June 28, 2023, despite his resignation as director on June 19, 2023. Sahu claims he was promised an additional ₹11.72 crore beyond his 5% stake value, a commitment he asserts was not honored post-sale. The Orissa High Court is scheduled to review related petitions on January 9.
