Stoa School, a Bengaluru-based edtech startup offering a six-month alternative MBA program, announced its closure. Founded in October 2020 by Aditya Kulkarni and Raj Kunkolienkar, Stoa aimed to provide a modern MBA experience, challenging traditional business education. Backed by Zerodha’s Nithin Kamath, Stoa School attracted $1.77 million in funding from top angel investors, including Cred’s Kunal Shah and Zivame’s Richa Kar. Despite success in building a strong community and practical learning model, co-founder Kulkarni acknowledged challenges in sustaining the model, sharing insights about the decision on X (formerly Twitter)
