NSE, BSE Revise Transaction Fees Effective October 1

The National Stock Exchange (NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) have revised their transaction charges, effective from October 1, 2024, following a SEBI circular. The new charges will now be uniform for all members, replacing the previous slab-wise structure based on trading volumes. NSE will charge Rs 2.97 per lakh for cash trades and Rs 35.03 for equity options. BSE's fees for Sensex and Bankex options will be Rs 3,250 per crore. These changes are aimed at simplifying fee structures and ensuring transparency for all market participants.
