NTPC Green Energy to Invest ₹2 Lakh Crore in Andhra Pradesh for Clean Energy Push

NTPC Green Energy Ltd (NGEL) has partnered with Andhra Pradesh's NREDCAP to launch renewable energy projects worth ₹2 lakh crore.

The initiative includes 25 GW of solar and wind power, 10 GW of pumped storage projects, and 0.5 MMTPA of green hydrogen production, positioning Andhra Pradesh as a clean energy leader. Announced by CM Chandrababu Naidu, this venture will create over 1 lakh jobs under the state's ICE Policy 2024. NGEL's ₹10,000 crore IPO, priced at ₹102-108 per share, has also been fully subscribed.
