Nvidia has taken the lead as the world’s most valuable company, surpassing tech giant Apple. The chip-making giant’s stock climbed 2.9% to reach $139.93 on Tuesday, pushing its market valuation to $3.43 trillion, just above Apple’s $3.38 trillion.
This boost in Nvidia’s market cap is largely driven by Wall Street’s enthusiasm for artificial intelligence, as the demand for AI-related technology propels the company’s growth. Nvidia first became the largest traded company in June, and this latest rise further solidifies its leadership in the AI industry.
