Digital payments leader PhonePe has achieved over ₹5,000 crore in revenue for FY24, marking a remarkable 73.8% increase from the previous year. Total revenue reached ₹5,725 crore, compared to ₹3,085 crore in FY23. Its primary earnings came from payment services, while additional income from investments added ₹661 crore. PhonePe reduced its net losses to ₹1,996 crore, down 28.6% from ₹2,795 crore, thanks to cost management. With a valuation of $12 billion, PhonePe leads the UPI market, holding almost 50% share in transaction volume and value.
