Princeton Digital Group (PDG) plans to invest $1 billion in India to expand its AI-ready data centres as part of a larger $5 billion initiative across Asia. This investment will boost PDG's capacity from 50 MW to 230 MW in Mumbai and Chennai, enhancing its infrastructure significantly. The flagship MU1 data centre in Mumbai will add three new buildings, tripling its capacity to 150 MW. The Chennai facility, named CH1, will feature 72 MW of AI-ready capacity. PDG aims to establish India as a global AI leader, with Mumbai and Chennai emerging as key cloud infrastructure hubs.
