13 Jan, 2026

Edelweiss Mutual Fund CEO Radhika Gupta recently made a nostalgic visit to the 44th India International Trade Fair (IITF) at Pragati Maidan. This event, renowned for showcasing India's diverse culture, brought back fond memories from her childhood. Radhika shared her experiences of exploring stalls from different states, delighting in local food, and enjoying the vibrant atmosphere during her youth.

In a heartfelt social media post, she expressed, "As a Delhi girl, I have fond memories of the India International Trade Fair, where we would go to see stalls from various states, shop, eat, and just enjoy the little joys from different parts of India." These reflections highlighted the fair's significance in promoting cultural exchange and celebrating India's unity in diversity.

At IITF 2025, Radhika Gupta also took the opportunity to discuss the importance of financial literacy. She emphasized the potential of India's economy, noting, "We are witnessing a $4 trillion dollar economy in front of our eyes!" This statement underscores the need for increased awareness and education in financial matters, particularly for women, who are often underrepresented in this field.

During the event, Radhika was particularly impressed by the grand displays at the newly developed Bharat Mandapam. She noted, "The fair has also gotten grander and richer, with a huge variety of state exhibitions, authentic handlooms, and some of the most tasty food you will find." Her enthusiasm for the fair's growth reflects the positive changes in India's approach to trade and culture.

The IITF 2025, inaugurated by Minister of State for Commerce and Industry Jitin Prasada on November 14, features the theme ‘Ek Bharat-Shreshtha Bharat.’ This year's fair celebrates India's cultural diversity and aims to foster unity among its people. The event is set to conclude on November 27, providing visitors ample time to explore the various stalls and exhibitions.

Visitors can experience the fair's excitement daily from 10:00 am to 7:30 pm, with entry closing at 5:30 pm. The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has a kiosk located on the ground floor of Hall number 3, showcasing important financial information. The first floor features stalls from Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Tripura, and Goa, offering a taste of each state's unique culture and products.

Overall, Radhika Gupta's visit to IITF 2025 not only highlights her personal journey but also emphasizes the importance of cultural celebration and financial empowerment in India’s evolving landscape.
