RBI Allows Navi Finserv to Resume Loan Operations After Policy Fix

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has lifted its ban on Navi Finserv, co-founded by Sachin Bansal, allowing it to resume loan approvals and disbursals.

The ban, imposed on October 21, 2024, cited concerns over excessive interest rates and non-compliance with pricing regulations. Following multiple interactions and process revamps, Navi Finserv has aligned its pricing policy with RBI norms. The company pledged to maintain fairness in loan pricing and governance. Restrictions on three other NBFCs, including DMI Finance and Arohan, remain in place.
