Reserve Bank of India Governor Shaktikanta Das was admitted to a corporate hospital in Chennai on Tuesday due to acidity, as per official sources.
A central bank spokesperson confirmed there is no cause for concern, adding that Das is doing fine and has already been discharged after 2-3 hours of monitoring. Although no official statement was issued by the hospital, sources emphasized that his condition was not serious. The 67-year-old governor's health update has drawn public attention, but he is reportedly back to normal.
