Revamped HDFC Regalia Gold Credit Card Benefits
HDFC Bank has made significant changes to its Regalia Gold Credit Card, introducing new benefits that are set to take effect from July 2026. One of the most notable updates is the inclusion of three complimentary visits to domestic airport lounges each quarter. However, cardholders must meet a spending requirement of ₹60,000 in the previous quarter to unlock this benefit, which could be a hurdle for some users.
In terms of rewards, the cardholder will now earn five reward points for every ₹200 spent, up from four points for every ₹150. While this may seem like an enhancement, it effectively raises the minimum spend for earning points, as transactions below ₹200 will not earn any rewards. Additionally, the dynamic currency conversion markup has increased from 1% to 1.75%, which may affect those making international transactions.
To enrich the user experience, HDFC Bank has introduced the Boarding Edge Program. Cardholders can access various benefits by simply uploading their boarding passes on the Regalia Gold SmartBuy portal. For instance, if a cardholder travels from Pune to Bengaluru, they can avail services at their destination. This feature aims to provide more value during travel, making the card more appealing for frequent flyers.
In collaboration with DreamFolks, the bank is also offering complimentary hotel room upgrades at select ITC Hotels, contingent upon a base room booking. Upgrades are valid for a one-day stay and are subject to availability, adding a luxurious touch to the travel experience.
Moreover, cardholders can enjoy a complimentary buffet meal and a half-hour spa session at various wellness centers, making travel more enjoyable and relaxing. However, it’s important to note that QR codes issued for these benefits expire three days after the travel date if not utilized.
Finally, HDFC Bank has teamed up with Uber to provide a ₹750 discount on airport cab rides in participating cities. This convenience adds yet another layer of value for Regalia Gold cardholders, but they must ensure they validate their boarding passes to receive the discount.
