Sanghi Industries Shares Fall 12% After Merger With Ambuja Cements

Sanghi Industries' stock dropped 12% following its merger announcement with Ambuja Cements, part of the Adani Group.

This move will help Ambuja expand its cement capacity in western India. The merger values Sanghi at ₹114.56 per share, which led to investor concerns about valuation. Sanghi Industries has a capacity of 6.1 million tonnes annually. Post-merger, Sanghi shareholders will get one Ambuja share for 51 Sanghi shares.
