Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) officials have raised concerns with the finance ministry about a toxic work environment under Chairperson Madhabi Puri Buch.
The officials, in an August 6 letter, accused Buch of using harsh language, setting unrealistic targets, and micromanaging, which has affected their mental health and work-life balance. The letter, titled "Grievances of Sebi Officers-A Call for Respect," highlighted issues like public humiliation and minute-by-minute monitoring.
