Sensex, Nifty Dip Slightly After Record-Setting Week as Investors Book Profits

Indian markets ended slightly lower on Friday as investors booked profits after a week of record highs. The Nifty 50 slipped 0.07% to 26,197.75, and the Sensex fell 0.3% to 85,571.85.

Heavyweight financial stocks like HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank dropped 1.7%. IT stocks rose after strong earnings from Accenture, with TCS, Infosys, and Wipro gaining up to 1.4%. Cipla surged 3% after a UBS 'buy' rating. Metal stocks jumped 7% this week, boosted by strong prices and hopes of Chinese stimulus support.
