Singapore Airlines Now Owns 25.1% Stake in Air India After Vistara Merger

Singapore Airlines (SIA) now holds a 25.1% stake in Tata Group's Air India, following the completion of the merger between Vistara and Air India.

The merger, a strategic move to strengthen India’s aviation sector, was finalized after regulatory approval. SIA will inject a sum of ₹2,059 crore into Air India, increasing its stake in the merged entity. Tata Group retains a controlling 74.9% stake in Air India.
