SpiceJet has raised ₹3,000 crore through a Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP), attracting strong interest from top investors, including Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, and Tata Mutual Fund. The QIP, which was open from September 16 to 18, was significantly oversubscribed, showing solid confidence in the airline's growth potential. This new funding will help SpiceJet operationalise grounded planes, acquire new aircraft, and expand into new markets. An additional ₹736 crore from a previous round will further boost the airline's financial stability and growth plans.
