StayVista, established as a luxury villa rental company, has tapped into the growing trend of villa rentals in India. The Indian branded rental villa market, valued at $329.6 million in 2023, is projected to soar to $1,377 million by 2028. With around 1,200 properties across 150 destinations, StayVista is well-poised for growth, targeting ₹240 crore in revenue by FY26.
Damani’s vision stems from personal experiences. He recalls how traveling with extended family was the norm, planting the seed for StayVista in his subconscious. The demand for spacious accommodations that cater to large groups is rising, especially as families increasingly seek memorable travel experiences together.
Initially, StayVista began catering to budget hotel segments, but soon pivoted towards holiday homes, a business model more aligned with the founders' childhood memories. Recognizing that Indians love traveling in groups, the company ensures that homes provide the necessary space and amenities for families.
Post-pandemic, the travel landscape has transformed. With travelers preferring private spaces over hotels, StayVista has experienced a surge in demand. The company has upgraded its villas to include essential amenities like Wi-Fi, catering to a new breed of digital nomads.
With a team of around 400 people, StayVista continues to expand its property portfolio. Each member plays multiple roles, ensuring a smooth operation. The founders are committed to maintaining high standards, constantly adapting to feedback and improving guest experiences.
