On August 15, both the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) will be closed for trading due to Independence Day.
This means no trading activity in derivatives, equities, SLBs, currency derivatives, or interest rate derivatives. The commodity derivatives segment will also remain shut. Trading will resume on August 16. Notably, on August 14, Indian indices broke a two-day losing streak, driven by strong buying in IT stocks, though gains were slightly offset by selling in other sectors.
