Swiggy is set to sponsor the fourth season of Shark Tank India for ₹25 crores but has conditionally excluded Zomato's founder, Deepinder Goyal, from returning as a Shark, highlighting the fierce competition between the two food delivery companies.
This move reflects Swiggy's strategy to bolster its brand ahead of its upcoming IPO, as it plans to allocate ₹950 crore of the ₹3,750 crore it aims to raise for marketing purposes.
