Swiss Authorities Freeze $310 Million in Adani-Linked Investigation

Swiss authorities have frozen over $310 million linked to a money-laundering investigation involving the Adani Group, according to claims by US short-seller Hindenburg Research. The investigation, reportedly ongoing since 2021, involves funds in five Swiss banks connected to an alleged associate of billionaire Gautam Adani. Hindenburg alleges that these funds were invested in offshore entities holding Adani stocks. The Adani Group has denied the accusations, calling them baseless and stating it is not involved in any Swiss court proceedings or fund seizures.
