Tata Electronics’ Revenue Soars Thanks to Apple Deal

Tata Electronics has experienced a dramatic revenue increase, skyrocketing to ₹3,802 crore from ₹401 crore in the previous fiscal year—a staggering ninefold growth.

This surge follows Tata's acquisition of Wistron's iPhone assembly plant, making it the only Indian company assembling iPhones. The firm plans to invest ₹6,000 crore in a new Tamil Nadu facility, expected to start operations in November 2024. Tata is also negotiating to buy Pegatron’s India factory, further enhancing its role in Apple’s supply chain. Apple's move to manufacture high-end iPhone models in India could boost Tata's financials even more.
