UPI Circle Delegate Payments: Empowering Secure Delegated Transactions

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has launched the UPI Circle Delegate Payments feature, enabling UPI users to delegate payment authority to trusted secondary users.

This feature allows a primary user to authorize a secondary user to conduct UPI transactions from the primary user's bank account with predefined limits. Under "Full Delegation," the limit is set to Rs 15,000 per month, with a maximum of Rs 5,000 per transaction. "Partial Delegation" lets primary users initiate transactions that secondary users complete using UPI PINs. Up to 5 secondary users can be authorized, with the feature enhancing UPI's inclusivity
