Vodafone Idea (Vi) has teamed up with Nokia in a ₹13,500 crore agreement to modernize its 4G network and roll out 5G services in key Indian markets.
Nokia will supply 4G and 5G equipment, including advanced base stations and MIMO radios, to enhance coverage in cities like Mumbai and Gujarat. This deal will boost premium connectivity for 200 million Vi customers and is part of Vi’s larger $6.6 billion investment plan to compete against Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel over the next three years.
