Shares of Vodafone Idea jumped 12% to Rs 11.71 on Monday, boosting the company's market cap to Rs 79,197 crore. This surge followed Vodafone Idea's announcement of a $3.6 billion (Rs 30,000 crore) deal with Nokia, Ericsson, and Samsung to source telecom equipment over the next three years.
The agreement is part of Vodafone Idea’s plan to expand its 4G network and roll out 5G services across India. A total of 585.63 lakh shares were traded on BSE, resulting in a turnover of Rs 66.42 crore.
