Waaree Energies shares made a strong debut on the National Stock Exchange (NSE), opening at ₹2,500 per share—66.3% higher than its IPO issue price of ₹1,503.
The stock saw an even bigger debut on the BSE at ₹2,550, marking a 69.6% premium. However, by 10:50 am, shares had dropped 3.9% to ₹2,401.2 after hitting a high of ₹2,624.4 and a low of ₹2,300. The ₹4,321.44 crore raised from the IPO will fund a new 6GW solar manufacturing facility, covering ingots, wafers, and PV modules, along with corporate expenses.
