Zerodha Ends Brokerage Revenue Sharing for Demat Referrals

Zerodha, a leading Indian brokerage, will no longer share brokerage revenue with users who refer new clients for demat account openings.

This change, effective from September 1, 2024, aims to streamline their operations and focus on direct business growth. Zerodha's referral program, which previously incentivized users with a share of the brokerage earned from referred accounts, will now be discontinued.
